Her next job was even more coveted since ABC made her the meteorologist of Eyewitness News.
During the prime of her career, Bri suffered a devastating blow in the form of a life-threatening stroke. But the brave woman survived it and went on to finish her master’s degree in energy and climate science - An inspiration to budding presenters everywhere!

Alex Wilson
It seems like Alex Wilson has been reporting the weather for ages now! As a matter of fact, the broadcast journalism-degree holder never set out to be a weather woman in her initial days. Soon, she fell in love with meteorology and went on to receive formal education in the field.
With a newfound vigor and an advanced degree from Penn State University, she signed up with South Carolina’s WHNS-TV. After a few stints with other networks, she signed the contract of her life as the face of The Weather Channel.

She became the go-to person to deliver updates and break the news about natural disasters, including the tornado season during 2013 and the deadly typhoons that rocked havoc in the Pacific. Taking representation to a whole new level, Elita Loresca is a Filipino-American newscaster creating wave storms in the industry! She is currently working in Houston, Texas, for KTRK-TV. Her career began as a new associate, but she was soon promoted to an assignment editor and weather anchor in KGET-TV.
After making the switch to KGPE-TV, Elita started covering noon and morning weather too! Some of the biggest events that she reported were Hurricane Katrina, Rita, Frances, and Wilma. Elita has managed to carve a name for herself, and viewers love her!

Best known for her bilingual weather coverage, Sonya Hill has risen to fame after growing up in Texas. One interesting tidbit for the curious Susans out there – before she became a reporter, the brunette haired beauty took part in a world-famous competition called Swimsuit USA International and came in the top 10 after competing against 70 contestants!
Sonya is currently working at the channel KZTV Action 10 News. She is one of the most experienced in the field as Hill has worked for three years prior as a reporter and anchor for KRIS Communications.

Another Mexican star that rocketed to weather girl fame is Susana Almeida. Despite the tabloids constantly focusing on Almeida because of a wardrobe malfunction earlier in her career, she has proven time and again that she is way more talented than that incident gave her credit for.
The unnecessarily invasive limelight did have a silver lining, though, as it put Susana on people's radar across the world, which helped her grow her massive social media following. No matter what happens, Susy, as her fans call her, has always been stylish and graceful and capitalized on events that could have made lesser people falter!

Sabrina Fein's roots will always be in San Diego, but her interest in Meteorology and Climatology was fuelled during her time at the University of Miami. In 1992, when she covered the devastation by Hurricane Andrew, Sabrina knew this is what she was meant to do! After graduating, she wasted no time in getting a job in broadcasting.
Fein is now back to reporting as an evening meteorologist in her hometown and is settled at San Diego 6 News after working in multiple television stations based in Lubbock, Texas, and also Springfield, Missouri.
Megan Glaros
For those who are unaware, Megan Glaros is currently an entertainment reporter and meteorologist for WBBM-TV, a CBS affiliate based in Chicago. The blonde-haired beauty has studied journalism and atmospheric sciences at Indiana University. She soon moved to Florida and started working as a morning news meteorologist at Local 10 and as a host in SportsJam Live.
It was there when Megan gained valuable insight while covering Hurricanes Wilma, Rita, and Katrina. She seems to have worked everywhere, including Maryland, West Virginia, New York, and most notably, for the ever-popular Good Morning America.
Julie Durda
Julie Durda is perfectly qualified to deliver the weather forecast as she graduated from university as a broadcast certified meteorologist! The presenter started as a traffic, features, and weather reporter for the station in her hometown of Sacramento, California. Julie has since lived and worked in Arizona and Florida, giving her plenty of experience in different weather types across the country!
As a presenter on Local 10 in Miami, Julie must often forecast blue skies and sunshine and keep her viewers up to date on the Atlantic hurricane season - She was even voted Best Meteorologist in South Florida in 2011, and we couldn't think of anyone more deserving!
Raegan Medgie
Many people start their reporting careers when they are at university, and presenter Raegan Medgie is no exception. As a student at Temple University, she reported for the student-run TV station, Temple Update. Raegan now splits her time between general reporting at the FOX5 channel in New York and tracking storms for The Weather Channel.
The charismatic presenter uses her experience to report on how communities are affected by severe weather events. No two days can be the same for Raegan, and we are not surprised she claims to be a lover of coffee; it must keep her sharp and focused!
Shay Ryan
A native of Florida, Shay Ryan's job as a meteorologist has taken her all over the country. After graduating with a degree in telecommunication and a Master's in geoscience, the presenter lived and worked in New York, Michigan, Georgia, and Mississippi, before returning to Florida to work for WFTS-TV in Tampa.
Shay even spent 36 hours at the Emergency Management Shelter in Savannah during Hurricane Floyd in 1999, where she tracked the storm and reported updates. It must have been quite an experience as it meant Shay took part in the largest peacetime evacuation in US history!
Chita Craft
It’s not unusual for fathers and sons to carry the same name down the family, but did you know Chita Craft is the fifth generation Chita in her family? The name is short for Conchita; it must get a bit confusing at family reunions!
Based in Houston, the weather expert works at the KHOU-TV morning show that airs from 4.30 am - 9 am. That’s an early start! The presenter didn’t just find a job in Houston; she also found love. She met and married her husband Lane there, and they now have two children together. We do wonder if Chita had successfully forecasted that too!
Jackie Guerrido
Before moving to television, Jackie Guerrido was tasked with making mornings brighter in El Vacilon de la Mañana and other radio shows. Soon, she became a raging hit, and other stations ended up ringing her doorbell!
Eventually, she went onto become the weather woman in TV shows like Despierta America and Primer Impacto. After getting a glimpse of Guerrido, many were in awe of her flair for being on the screen, and inevitably, she was offered a role in films and reality shows. All these ended up making her resume a binder!
