The co-passengers would have had a whale of a time not only witnessing such a rare sight but later animatedly explaining their rendezvous with the girl packing a serious punch to their colleagues. She must have spiced up their mundane ride to work that day.

Our heart goes out to every passenger, young and old, who were forced to watch a yoga session against their will in a subway, of all places. No one would have signed up for it, no matter how agile the lady looks doing her asanas.

She would have received quite many awkward glances, rolling eyes, and disapproving grunts from her co-passengers, one of them being the young man in the picture. Still, we cannot help but admire the woman for forging ahead with her plan to use every second at her disposal towards improving her health irrespective of what others may think and feel about it. We all love to keep fit, and we have different ways to do it, some head to the gym, while others prefer yoga. However, with the intense work schedules many of us have, getting time to put in some workout has become increasingly difficult. So, it is a refreshing sight to see this mother and child get their daily dose of the stretch.

Going for the 'happy baby pose,' this mother and child decided to do their yoga in the subway, and just look at how cute they are! The baby seems to be enjoying the exercise, and his mum is also delighted to join in on the fun.

It's not a strange sight to see someone having a bad day on the subway; besides, what better place to just be and think about your life? But, unfortunately, this bride seems to be having the worst day of her life; maybe her wedding didn't turn out to be what she expected and, considering that she's alone, it could be the groom was nowhere to be seen.

Maybe the lady decided she could be happier with someone else, or she just wasn't ready for married life. Whatever the case, we hope she got to her destination safe and sound and got over the heartbreak.

Public Indecency

Grooming should be done in private and out of sight. It's one thing putting on your make up but come on, cutting your nails is where we draw the line, and this man probably agrees with us. The subway user on the left has had enough of the guy on the right as he clips his toenails in plain sight.

It must take a lot of willpower not to tell the nail cutter off, but this guy's patience is running thin. Hopefully, the nail guy took the hint and dropped his quest sooner than later. Otherwise, he was going to have a funky showdown.

Now we’ve seen it all! Of all the tasks people attend to during transit, this one takes the cake. The busy woman who had no time for herself decided to use the long wait at the subway stations to her advantage and shave a few hairs off her legs. Considering she carried the foam and the razor, it was a preplanned event.

By the time she arrived at her destination, the lady would have been all set to take on the world with renewed vigor, thanks to her freshly shaven legs. While it certainly helped her save time, it sure would have scarred a few of her co-passengers who witnessed the unpleasant exercise.

It's truly amazing to see a woman exercising her right to sleep while standing with a walking stick with chin support. She must have been tired if she fell asleep surrounded by so many other passengers on a subway. Moreover, she slept upright, which is admirable.

The woman must be one of those regulars who get in midway when the seats are already taken. A daily trip of a two-way commute with no place to sit is a bit hard on anyone. So we are glad she came up with a gadget that would ease her travel. Wouldn't it be a great idea to patent the product and sell it for exclusive use in the subways?

Dressed For Work With A Desk In Tow

Indeed his colleagues seated beside him wonder if they should have carried their work desks too; every passenger on the subway must have been alerted to this anomaly. We’ve heard of such workaholics who even wear ties willingly to portray a serious image. What about the adage that states all work and no play makes people a bit dull?

We will give this office worker the benefit of the doubt and assume he has several back-to-back important meetings that need some heavy-duty preparation from him. Still, bringing a foldable table along to use in a packed subway is a little extreme. On the other hand, his dedicated efforts could help him land a promotion.

How often does one come across a funeral procession with a casket taking the subway during the years of traveling? It's not the preferred mode of transportation for the dearly departed. While this picture speaks of a solemn moment for the grieving family and the passengers who got to witness it, it's weird and feels awfully out of place.

It piques our curiosity about the reason behind this decision; was it the person's last wish to be taken through the same subway they had traveled their entire lives? Did they have to pay the ticket fare this time too? Well, since this doesn't usually happen, we are simply taking notes.

While rainy days can be fun to watch from one’s windows, the reality is entirely different. All the more so if you have some walking to do on the waterlogged roads. Imagine having to travel to work during a heavy downpour! A large umbrella can only prevent you from getting soaked.

This girl’s ingenious brain conjured up a neat trick - to saran wrap her feet along with the shoes so they remain as dry as when she wore them at home before leaving for office. Meeting a fellow passenger who has an uncanny resemblance to Barack Obama, the former President of the United States, is sure to give way to restless chatter among the subway passengers. This man's appearance would have flustered many, but he seems to be unbothered by the attention.

He must surely be aware of the striking similarities between him and the political leader, not to mention the number of times people would have reminded him of it. However, that seems to be the least of his worries since the man already appears to carry the world's weight on his shoulders no matter what official position he holds at work.

No one told us how scary taking the subway at night might get until now. Was it Halloween when someone took this picture? We sure hope so. Imagine coming across the master of all evil himself while doing some intense soul-searching during a lonely trip back home after a challenging day at work.

Come to think of it, it's funny how none of the passengers seem particularly fazed by the mysterious presence among them. Is it a nightly ritual for the dark lord? Is the carriage named 666, and we missed the memo? If the black attire doesn't disturb anyone, the glowing red eyes are sure to do the deed.

It's estimated that at least 267 million tons of waste are generated every year in the United States, and if this image is anything to go by, then that is believable. This person decided that the trash they had accumulated needed to be recycled, which is a great thing, but we're not sure about the mode of transport they chose.

We doubt taking the subway down to the recycling plant was a good idea; how did the people on the train survive the smell? While he is responsibly saving the environment, we don't think interfering with other passengers was a wise thing to do.

More often than not, in the subway one is bound to meet young folk who were out having the best day of their lives at the late hours of the night. Of course, they are all having fun while they can, and who can blame them? We all did when we were their age. But, hilariously, it seems like this lady had to go through the falling-off-the-escalator rite of passage.

By the look of things, the ladies had fun, and their friend slipping made their night complete. Safe to say that this will be a night all three girls will remember for the rest of their lives.

When you're having a long day, it's understandable that you'd want to stay away from small talk to just be by yourself, not attracting any attention. Even so, this person decided that covering themselves in a moss coat would do the trick, but we're afraid it brought way too much attention that we doubt they needed at that point in time.

Maybe they were going to a costume party, which is understandable; but if they're shy or dealing with social anxiety, using the camouflage was a bad idea. Whatever the case, we hope they made it to their destination safe and sound, without having to deal with too many strangers staring.

 

Welcome To The Ravenous Dark Side

Nowadays, it's normal to come across goth people; long gone are the days when the fashion style was considered wild and a tad unorthodox. This lady took the whole idea a bit too seriously, and apart from the all-black outfit, she added a pet raven into the mix.

Perhaps she's a fan of Edgar Allan Poe's literary work 'The Raven' to be exact, which could be the inspiration behind this whole look. We must say, though, the girl looks interestingly stunning, and we think she'll make an amazing goth queen if given a chance to star in a horror movie.

Over the years, many people have impersonated Jesus, and it is not a strange sight to see the copycats everywhere, from bus stations to the subway. However, this man did an excellent job of looking like the real Christ; from the signature beard to the tunic, he hacked the code.

So good is his outfit that he wasn't short of attention and people decided to take pictures. Also, can we talk about how he accentuated the look with the book, which we hope is the Bible? If any production companies are looking to cast someone in the role of Jesus, he is the guy.

 

 

 

Meat Onboard!

While subways are mainly used to ferry people all over the city, some countries have taken it a notch higher and incorporated businesses therein. Take South Korea, for example, where one can find a butcher in one of the carriages.

This is an ingenious business idea if you ask us, as there are a lot of people using the mode of transport at any given time, so the profit margins must be immense. Still, we doubt the idea would work in other countries; not many would appreciate the smell of raw meat at close proximity, unless they do other business types, like newspapers or soft drinks.

 

Need Nose Support?

Who knew that the bars fitted over the subway seats are meant to be used as nose support when someone wants to take a nap? This lady showed us how to utilize the bars fully, and we wonder how she managed to snooze the entire way in that position.

Of course, the bars were meant for something else, and it would be interesting to see the reaction on her face when she wakes up to find snot where her nose was. Hopefully, she didn't have to deal with a migraine after the ride, because naps are supposed to be comfortable if you ask us, and that didn't look comfortable at all.

 

 

 

Hairy Disguise

We have seen the many ways that people use to stay unrecognized and unbothered during their subway rides, but we don't think we've witnessed anything like this. To achieve the perfect disguise, this lady asked her hairstylist to work on something that would cover her entire face, and it was a brilliant work of art.

While we love how it turned out, we wonder how the lass is able to see through the hair and the dark glasses. The man next to her also seems very unimpressed by her sight, and how he remains so calm is something we may never understand.

Running a business can be pretty demanding, and we all know how impatient customers can get. For this entrepreneur, they might be having one of those days where time seems to be working against them. Everything and anything has to be done to make the delivery on time, and that's how the subway bake-off began.

Luckily, the lady has all the necessary tools to carry out her work on the move, and from the look of things, she might just beat the time crunch. We wonder how she managed to layer the icing seamlessly because the subway can be pretty bumpy.

Santa might be the jolly old man we have all grown to love and cherish, and he can do no wrong - at least until today. It looks like our boy here might have just gotten the worst rude awakening you can think of. The expression on the young man sitting next to Santa tells it all, and we feel his pain.

Santa seems to be having a bad day, and he decided to shave his beard and take a ride on the subway. Where are the sleigh and the reindeer, you ask? Well, that's probably the reason our favorite holiday mascot is drowning his sorrows as he heads home.

These boys must have had one epic party, and going by their dress code, they'll probably have memories to boot. The only time boys dress alike is when they have some mischief up their sleeves, and these lads sure had plenty. Unfortunately, their plan was so epic that they passed out on the subway to recover.

This image reminds us of our favorite childhood characters who'd roll around the neighborhood in their bikes, causing mayhem. Seeing grown men in the same attire makes us feel nostalgic, and we are happy some guys haven't given up on their childhood. Hopefully, they didn't miss their stop.

When Russia hosted the 2018 world cup, their mascot was a cute-looking dinosaur that had every boy looking for a dinosaur toy. These guys took it to the next level; they found actual dinosaurs and used them as their means of transportation. How cool is that?

Interestingly, unlike 'Jurassic Park' these animals seem a bit more friendly and accommodating. Sadly, their energy reserves are a bit less than their movie counterparts, so our dinosaur riders have been forced to use the subway. Surprisingly, no one is batting an eye as they make their way into one of the coaches meaning this is just another day in Russia.

 

Napoleon On The Subway

Napoleon Bonaparte might be revered as a historical figure, but we have a reason to believe the guy is still alive. This image is the necessary proof, and we can all agree that the good man still has some vintage swag, right? On the other hand, his demeanor tells of a man who's lived a full life conquering and fighting.

Napoleon deserves all the rest he can get, and after conquering most of Europe, what more can a guy want? On the other hand, wasn't the guy short? Jokes aside, this guy knows his cosplay, and maybe he should share his plug or work online.

This, guys, is how you train a dog! The owner of this canine deserves some accolades and awards because they didn't half-ass the work with their best friend. Instead of clogging the aisle and causing unnecessary tension, the animal knows to take a seat like everyone else.

We can only imagine how far this animal's training has gone since it takes a lot of work to get your dog to even sit on command, let alone sit on the subway. On the other hand, look at the size of that thing! If it were us, we'd probably give up training once it got bigger than a toddler.

Grabbing a Subway has many meanings, and this might be the newest one. If you've never had a Subway sandwich, you might be lucky to grab one someday. We aren't talking about that popular franchise, but we might be looking at how some of their ingredients are created.

Come to think of it, subway pies have a unique flavor that's difficult to replicate. We might have just found out it's in the onions, and this lady is responsible. Okay, we are pulling your leg, but it was a bit hard not to do. This lady is probably just making preparations for her dinner in an odd venue.

 

 

 

We're All Human

You might always be drawn towards the weird scenarios happening on the New York subway, and that's okay. Nevertheless, this image is what the subway is all about; two people from opposite ends of the cultural spectrum sitting side by side with no qualms.

The tube is the one place all differences are put aside, and people are taken from their high horse and become people. It's nice to see how most of the nonsense on the surface has no power in the subway. Maybe it's time we considered voting in a Subway line for president. Once that happens, this equality cry should be a thing of the past.

Einstein was a man ahead of his time, and we now understand why. Using the theory of relativity, the man theorized that time travel is possible, and we have a feeling the guy put all his cards on the table and swung for the fences. Now many decades later, here he is.

In his time, Einstein was a celebrity, and maybe the guy just wanted a quiet life. Looking at this subway image, our good man is having a nap as he enjoys the subway ride. After discovering time travel, we doubt snoozing will be one of his worries now.

 

Small-Winged Angel On The Subway

Like how the famous song goes, heaven seems to be a place on earth and angels are riding the subway. Seeing this woman in all-white attire with tiny wings attached to her back, we cannot help but suppose she belongs to the lower angel ranks.

Because she cannot fly with those small feathered appendages, there is no other choice but to use public transportation. She's giving off a somewhat annoyed vibe, so there is no better explanation. In reality, though, it appears like the woman was forced to put on a costume she didn't like to an event. What made matters worse was that she had to ride the subway wearing it!

 

Doing His Own Sting

If we were told a man boarded the subway carrying a swarm of bees, we would dismiss it as "fake news." Until we saw this photo, of course. Many will agree if we say this is like carrying a dangerous weapon on public transportation.

Although bees are creatures not to be feared, their sting can be extremely painful. In addition, some people get a severe allergic reaction when bitten, which could be life-threatening. This beekeeper probably had no access to a private vehicle and had no other choice. Since we didn't hear news about a bee attack on the subway, we can safely assume this particular transporting of the winged creatures went smoothly.

 

The Traveling Gamer

Talk about taking video game addiction to the next level—this young man probably couldn't leave behind the video game he was playing and he brought it to the subway! Even though gaming can be beneficial to youngsters as a way to sharpen their cognitive skills, it can also be harmful when it becomes an addiction.

This gentleman looks like he is hooked on video games with the stunt he pulled. Experts say gaming becomes an addiction when it replaces real-life activities, like this guy who could have just enjoyed the subway ride. There's the option to interact with fellow passengers, even simply saying hello or giving a smile.

 

Turtle On A Leash

Whoever sees this photo would be amused for a couple of reasons. First is the fact that this fellow brought a turtle on a subway ride. Second, he put a leash on the animal like it's capable of escaping. It's general knowledge that turtles walk at a plodding pace, so if this one tries to get away, its owner could quickly stop it.

So, we can assume this individual probably wanted to get some laughs by putting a leash on their pet like a dog. Of course, there's still the possibility that they were genuinely afraid to lose their turtle. Maybe it has superpowers, and the owner was worried it would join Michelangelo, Rafael, Donatello, and Leonardo in the sewers!

 

Just A Guy With His Paper Friend

Some people probably made fun of this man for the "paper friend" he made, but what we see is a picture of loneliness. Maybe the poor guy was so used to seeing buddies and couples on the subway that he wanted someone to sit beside him as well. Since he made a companion out of paper, we assume that he did not have a real friend or a partner to join him.

Hopefully, some people got the silent message and sat with him. So, instead of laughing at this man, let's look at this photo with concern and understanding. Sometimes, when people pull funny antics, it can be their way of saying they need a friend.

 

Came Straight Out Of Slasher Film

We cannot help but imagine someone who was not accustomed to riding the subway at night encountered this creepy fellow. Of course, if possible, the scared passenger would have ran out. Unfortunately, the doors had been closed, so a long ride home with the scary man was the only choice.

Then again, this is just our imagination working. In reality, it may have just been Halloween, so people were in costumes, including this guy. If one examines the photo closely, the other travelers appear to be in costume as well. Yet, the main attraction is the one in the center because of the scary mask that looks like it came straight out of a slasher movie.

 

Cat Lady With A Side Eye

Pets are usually not banned on subways, which makes us wonder why this woman looks like she's smuggling the cat inside her jacket. If we are to guess, the furry creature is probably not hers but a stray. The lady may have come across the animal while on her way to the train and fell in love.

Then, of course, she had to take the cat with her and hide it to make it feel safe. Hence, the side-eye she showed when discovered by the person who took this photo. It's a grand theory, but we don't know the true story. Maybe this is just a woman protecting her pet from the cold.

 

That's So New York!

When in New York, a perfect way to apologize is with an accompanying pizza. A much better option is to write "I'm sorry" on the food carton itself like a love note. Although it is just an assumption that this guy is in the Big Apple, because of the subway and the pizza.

There are so many unexpected things that can happen while traveling in the tube, with some involving romance. We suppose this guy did something hurtful to his romantic partner, who happened to love the food. As they say, a way to someone's heart is through the stomach—but in this particular instance, it's all about forgiveness.

 

What Happened To The Barbies?

Don't get us wrong; we are not trying to make fun of this person's outfit, it's only giving us the creeps. If the goal is to be scary, this person achieved it because people must have kept their distance seeing that costume in the subway. Imagine catching sight of it on the way to the tube; no wonder someone took a photo!

It appears like this individual wanted to create the look of a ferocious human who collects victims' heads. People who don't find the look chilling are probably amused, mainly because Barbie doll heads were used. In our opinion, though, that detail is what made this extra disturbing.

 

A Veggie Lover

What can we say? The man loves his greens! If there's something that people should get obsessed about, it's green, leafy vegetables like lettuce. They are not only packed with vitamins and minerals; they also carry a lot of health benefits.

Nevertheless, it is better to show one's obsession with lettuce at home, when no one is around to judge or take photos. This man showed his love for the fresh produce right in the subway and couldn't care less about the other passengers. Instead of opening a bag of chips or nuts, the old guy went the healthy way and snacked on a bag of lettuce.

 

Chicken Loving

We all love some chicken wings or grabbing a bucket of the yummy delicacy with friends at your favorite diner. Nonetheless, most of us enjoy the finished product on our plates rather than having to rear some ourselves, and even if we wanted to, the urban spacing wouldn’t allow us.

Our good friend here decided to take the game of keeping one’s favorite pet a notch higher and designed a unique baby carriage to ferry this beloved creature through the subway. Even more intriguing is that the chicken’s feathers seem to be dyed pink for that striking effect that matches the cot.

 

Stranger Twins

If we all had the chance to watch a tape of our parents’ lives before they had us, some of us would be very surprised to find that we have brothers and sisters that we didn’t know existed. Take this photo, for instance, and you have two guys who are seemingly not acquainted but then everything about them is a direct match!

A closer look at their faces indicates similar facial features, especially around the mouth area. Then proceed to their sense of style, and the chaps seem to share the same fashion style, from the caps to the hoodies. They also seem to have the same posture, even though the lady in the back is not intrigued.

Whoever invited this decent-looking lady to a last-minute Halloween party should be whipped or banished to the pits of darkness. The woman’s relaxed posture indicates a kind-hearted person who doesn’t like letting her friends down, and we can all imagine the depths she went into so as to pull off a credible costume on short notice.

Judging by the look of it, the woman must have sewed this Alien-themed mask herself at the last minute, and although it might not be what she would have preferred to wear, we must commend her effort. We hope that the friends appreciated her action and didn’t joke about her appearance all night.

 

The Seat’s Brother

Sometimes crazy coincidences can cross your path and leave you amused. Take this guy, for example, who stepped out of the house looking dapper as usual, only to encounter a subway seat pattern that matched his t-shirt! What are the chances of something like that happening?

It was quite a rare occurrence judging by the guy’s marveled look. The chap even took off the jacket for maximum camouflage effect, and the attendants should have allowed him to ride for free for being a walking advert for their company. Evidently, the gentleman couldn’t wait to share photos of the occurrence on social media for all his friends to see.

 

Where The Bald Ride

Although a bald head is a hairstyle that many people around the world prefer, and some of them look great, it might be a bit unsettling sitting next to a group of five or more clean-shaven men. For instance, in this subway ride, the left side seems to be set aside for the hairless folk, and seeing all those shining heads together can make one feel like part of a cult.

The two guys with hair on the seat seem shocked by the sudden realization that they might have ended up in a prohibited zone. We hope that they rode safely to their destination without a beating.

 

The Aftermath

What really happened in this image is anybody’s guess at this point, but we know people were just as baffled when they saw these toupes all over the subway station. Was there a heated argument and subsequent catfight between two wig-wearing passengers? Or did someone’s hairpiece just get left behind during rush hour?

This hairy situation could have been worse. Imagine if these were actual hair and not just wigs. The implications would have been way dire, so let’s just leave this as is and avoid other hair-raising assumptions. We hope the hairpieces were cleaned up promptly before causing any undue situations.

This scene looks hilarious now, but it probably wasn’t funny for the passengers who had to sit in patience while their train was delayed because of this sticky situation. We get it: everything looks different when someone is wearing a mascot, especially that of an oversized panda. The guy must have thought he could clear the entrance with ease.

It would have been hard to get mad; we all love pandas, and the men helping this costumed passenger out are still smiling, so we can assume that it was not as stressful. Knowing how the Japanese train system operates like clockwork, we wonder how this messed up the day’s schedules?

 

Subway Snooze

Props to this train rider for being able to squeeze himself comfortably in the narrow subway seat and figuring out how to take a nap. It’s probably been a long day; he is tired after all the work he had to do, and getting that much-needed breather was the only thing on his mind.

The train does not look that full, so at least he wasn’t taking precious seats away from other passengers who were also traveling and wanted to take a seat. Someone needs to wake him up when it is time to get off the train. Or maybe he thought ahead and had already set his alarm.

Passengers rushing to their destinations were probably pleasantly surprised when they got on the train and chanced upon this harp-playing guy who was filling the subway with angelic tunes from his stringed instrument. It’s soothing and provides welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle, and best of all, it’s free.

He seems lost in the moment, looking wistfully somewhere far away. Perhaps remembering moments from the past as his fingers work their magic through the strings of the harp, producing that wonderful music and filling the air with a refreshing vibe. We bet he is reminding everyone of life’s simple pleasures.

 

No Looking Allowed

Okay, we understand that staring at other people is downright rude, not to mention uncomfortable. But who knew there was an actual time limit for this? This sign on a British subway train sets the eye contact limit to 2 seconds, discouraging anything beyond those mere moments.

As if that wasn’t strange enough, the sign also makes it clear that even acknowledging the presence of other people on the train is not allowed. It seems like that is taking it a bit too far, but at least there are fewer awkward encounters to worry about during the ride. It’s just a commute, not a happy hour at the corner pub.
