When we became acquainted with Kelly Osbourne, she was a rather foul-mouthed teen who also entertained several vices. She gave them up but turned to food for comfort and the weight piled on. In 2010, she had a turning point when she participated in Dancing With The Stars.
She dropped some pounds and started working with a trainer to push her weight loss further. She also started hiking a lot and she soon lost 40 lbs. The weight crept back at some point but she got back on track after becoming a vegan. Her reinvented look also worked wonders for her career, and in 2019, she appeared in Lorraine.

Carlos Mencia is best known for cracking ribs by hosting the comedic show Mind Of Mencia. In 2011, he pulled a fast one on his fans when he revealed his slimmer body on a stand-up special.

Jimmy Kimmel is one of the first celebrities who pioneered intermittent fasting. The pattern of restrictive eating has helped scores of people lose massive amounts of weight, and it had the same impact on Kimmel.
He explained that he followed the 5:2 method which essentially meant that he fasted for two days and indulged the rest of the days each week. However, he started working out and quit intermittent fasting. The simple reason was that exercising makes you feel hungrier and he just couldn't power through the fast days. He lost 32 lbs on the show and after being eliminated, he continued with the journey at home. In the end, he had shed off over 100 lbs and he appeared healthier than we had seen him before. Studdard has also been keeping busy, he teamed up with former American Idol contestant Clay Atkins in 2019 for a Broadway project.

Abby Lee Miller is one of the American mothers who found their way under the spotlight by featuring in Dance Moms. Miller had always wanted to lose weight and her motivation was simple, she wanted to make the other moms jealous.

Mention Zach Galifianakis and the movie that comes to mind is The Hangover. He's always capitalized on being "big and funny" and while it helped him bank several roles, he wanted a change. It started with quitting alcohol because it was preventing him from being functional on most days.
