A year later, Keys explained her radical decision in an article published in the online magazine Lenny Letter. "Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn't put on makeup – what if someone wanted a picture? What if they POSTED it?" Keys wrote. "[It was] based too much on what other people thought of me."

Believe it or not, Handler was not a big makeup person, until relatively recently. While she used a little, she never enjoyed it.
